As we continue to grow, we're seeking a collaborative Financial Analyst to work alongside our Head of Finance and data team to build efficient systems that scale.
Who we're looking for:
The Finance Associate will be a key player in our finance team, working directly with the Head of Finance to analyze financial data, refine financial models, ensure budget adherence, and streamline financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys diving deep into financials, and has a genuine enthusiasm for SaaS.
What you'll be doing:

• Operational Efficiency: Ensure the financial operations and month-end closes are smooth and efficient, with a focus on scalability and compliance.
• Budget Management: Monitor and ensure adherence to budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to align with financial goals.
• Financial Analysis: Perform detailed financial analysis to support decision-making, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
• SaaS Metrics Analysis: Expertly analyze and interpret key SaaS metrics and ratios, such as MRR, ARR, LTV, CAC, Churn Rate, and more, to drive strategic decisions.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and refine sophisticated financial models tailored to our SaaS business model, incorporating recurring revenue, subscription costs, and growth forecasts.
• Strategic Planning: Support the Head of Finance in strategic planning efforts, providing data-driven insights to inform company strategy.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the bookkeeper and controller to ensure accurate financial data is available for analysis and reporting.

Your Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, and modeling, preferably within the SaaS industry or a related tech field.
• Deep understanding and interest in advanced SaaS metrics, financial modeling, and analysis.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for technology and the SaaS business model.
