Finance Associate / Senior Associate

About the Role  70% of your time on:

• Guiding client servicing team to obtain appropriate documentations required in setting up client and vendor account in accounting system. 
• Work closely with client service team to ensure billings are generated timely and accurately. 
• Follow up with client service team on outstanding clients-related issues, e.g., aged debtors, revenue recognition.
• Liaison with Shared Service team when answering queries from client servicing team regarding settlement of supplier accounts/ invoices. 
• Review Debtors Ageing Report, follow up with Shared Service Team or client on overdue invoices to ensure timely collection of debts.

30% of your time on:

• Preparing and analyzing monthly balance sheet items such as WIP, accruals, pre-billings, prepayments, etc.
• Preparation of journals and keeping proper supporting documentation and filing in preparation for audit. 
• Assist in managing accurate revenue recognition and WIP (work-in progress) entries. 
• Assist in other ah-hoc assignments.

What You’ll Need  Requirements 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Individuals with 1-2 years’ relevant working experiences in advertising agencies is an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly MS Excel)
• Positive attitude towards problem solving
• Excellent time management skills with an ability to multi-task whilst maintaining strong attention to details
• Team player with a can-do attitude who enjoys a fast-paced work environment
• Independent, highly motivated and committed
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Desirable 

• Knowledge of Deltek Maconomy is a bonus
• Experience of working in service industry / advertising / creative / PR agency is a bonus
• Good communication skills
• Able to start work immediately or in short notice (preferred)
