Our finance team plays a critical role in supporting the business by providing accurate financial insights, reporting, and analysis that enable smarter decision-making. Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Finance Data Analyst with 1–3 years of experience to join our Finance team. The analyst will focus on financial reporting, data analysis, and supporting budgeting and forecasting initiatives. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within corporate finance. The Finance Data Analyst will partner with accounting, FP&A, and business leaders to ensure reliable financial insights are delivered across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis • Prepare recurring financial and KPI reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Assist with monthly variance analysis, highlighting trends and key business drivers. • Support development of dashboards and reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, or similar) for finance leadership. • Budgeting & Forecasting Support • Assist in maintaining financial models for annual budgets and rolling forecasts. • Gather and validate data inputs from cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Marketing). • Provide supporting analysis for revenue, expenses, and headcount planning. Data & Systems • Extract, clean, and analyze data from finance systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, Tableau, Vena). • Help improve efficiency in reporting through automation and process documentation. • Support reconciliations and data checks in coordination with the accounting team. Business Partnership • Collaborate with finance and business leaders to answer ad hoc data questions. • Translate financial and operational data into insights that guide business decisions. • Provide analytical support for finance-led initiatives such as profitability analysis, ROI evaluations, and expense tracking. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics or related field. • 1–3 years of experience in finance, FP&A, or data analysis (internships and co-op experience considered). • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, power query, lookups, data visualization). • Exposure to financial systems (NetSuite, Vena, Adaptive Insights, or similar) preferred. • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) a plus. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Effective communicator, able to explain financial results to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. • Highly organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
