Electriphi was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Palo Alto California. The company provides software solutions with the singular focus of enabling the transition to zero-emission vehicles across heavy, medium, and light-duty fleets in public as well as private segments.
Electriphi was acquired in June of 2021 by Ford Motor Company and now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary responsible for defining the Go to Market for Ford Pro as it relates to charging. The newly formed Ford Pro Charging is a business unit within Ford Pro that delivers End-to-End solutions for our commercial customers. This includes software, hardware, and the necessary services to design, build and operate commercial charging for Ford and Non-Ford customers alike (along with the things that make Ford great like vehicles, telematics, and financing!).

Job Description and Qualifications:
Electriphi is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company and develops the Intellectual Property in the Ford Pro Charging solution.Ā Ford Pro is the global business and brand within Ford Motor Company dedicated to delivering products and services to commercial and government customers of all sizes to accelerate productivity, growth, and sustainability. Ford Pro integrates a digitally powered suite of Software, Charging, Service and Financing for work vehicles. Our Ford Pro Solutions Team simplifies the fragmented fleet system and makes it easy for customers by designing and selling the right end-to-end solution for their business. Our Ford Pro Intelligence then brings together everything the customer needs in one suite of digital services under our proprietary cloud-based platform. Our end-to-end products and services work across gas, electric, and even non-Ford vehicles. Ford Pro has already built a formidable mote with the number one commercial vehicle and solution segment market share in both Europe[1] (EU) & North America (NA).
The newly formed Ford Pro Charging (FPC) is an operational unit within Ford Pro responsible for delivering end-to-end charging solutions for our commercial BEV customers (e.g. truck, van). Ā Born out of the acquisition of Electriphi, a California-based charging solutions start-up, Ā in 2021, FPC is a start-up enterprise operating within Ford Pro. The groupās solutions include software as a service, hardware, and the necessary services to design, build and operate commercial charging for Ford and Non-Ford customers alike. Ford Pro has a unique opportunity to be the first in the industry to define a commercial value proposition that captures the productivity needs of commercial customers. Ford Pro Charging resides at the apex, blazing the trail among all OEM providers of all vehicle classes.
The FPCās strategic objectives are:
- Lead the market in highly differentiated charging hardware and SaaS solutions that leverage the unique advantages of also being a vehicle OEM.
- Create a platform which generates new and reoccurring profit streams
- Enable strategic growth by capturing non-Ford market to enable faster growth and strategic insights.
- Build operational scale to enable a GoTo-Market (GTM) engine and efficiently capture market share in our segment.
As FPC continues to champion its strategic objectives, we are searching for people who can shape the business.Ā To achieve our ambitions, we need to establish new channels and routes to market, operational frameworks and governance, scalable processes, and tools to enable scale and sustainable growth. The Finance Director will be hired into Electriphi; this role will play an integral role in the design and implementation of a cohesive SaaS strategy, deal governance, FP&A, and controllership. The role will require collaboration with FPC functional heads (Sales, Product, R&D, Business Development, Operations) as well as key stakeholders across the Ford Pro leadership team in NA and EU.
Major Responsibilities:
SaaS Strategy & PricingĀ
- Develop NA and EU data-based model to inform pricing and packaging on existing products, along with a framework to incorporate input from key stakeholders
- Develop pricing recommendations for new SaaS capabilities (API, etc.), based on guidance from FPC leadership team and key stakeholders
- Ensure consistent cross-functional and regional interlock to create a cohesive SaaS strategy across Europe and North America and, when needed, take a country-by-country approachĀ
- Monitor customer feedback, adoption rates, and competitive offerings to ensure recommendations are informed by customer insights/feedback.
- Collecting and processing data on economic conditions (e.g. inflation, governmental policy) across markets to track condition and price elasticity of demand
- Reporting: Own, develop, streamline, reporting (SaaS subscriptions, etc.), driving efficiencies cross functionally, implement automation and controls

Financial Planning & Analysis
- Responsible for Electriphi financial reporting, planning, and analysis activities partnering across relevant business teams, such as R&D Engineering.
- You must demonstrate strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, and communication skills to ensure all FP&A-related activities are completed in a timely and high-quality manner.
- You will be a key partner in building the financial infrastructure and financial data analytics to support and drive decision-making and facilitate process improvements to drive organizational efficiency (Deal Desk).
- Provide business insight for decision support and execution of all FP&A-related activities including annual budget, interim forecasts, month-end close analytics, and other periodic and ad-hoc reporting.
- Facilitate establishment and maintenance of adequate internal controls to ensure the organization remains in compliance with the policies.
- Collaborate with the HR team on analyzing & reporting headcount dynamics and personnel costs.
Controllership:Ā Ā
- Oversight to NA & India operations from an operational accounting perspective.
- Responsible for 3rd party interface wrt Electriphi (Tax/BDO, Treasury/Banking, Electriphi back-end applications).
- Oversight with Control / Sox testing, perform sox testing where necessary due to separation of duties.
Education and / or Experience
- BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, statistics, business, related, or equivalent.
- Self-starter comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
- 6+ years in a finance-related role with an emphasis on quantitative analysis and business planning.
- Expert Microsoft Excel user and confident PowerPoint user.
- Excellent communicator able to develop efficient narrative supported by relevant data.
- Strong intent for professional development and demonstrated growth abilities.
- Passion for process modernization, automation and data analytics.
- Proven leadership skills, ability to lead cross functional teams effectively.

Compensation
All things are a conversation and salary will be discussed in the 1st call, not the last one. Ā Most roles have a 10% bonus on top of the base salary.
Unlimited PTO-Time Off

Ideally, we would like people to take off a minimum of 15 days per year and encourage days for volunteering, mental health, wellness, etc.... not just vacations or sick days. We observe 8 holidays every year and close the last week of the year so that everyone has a chance to start the New Year off fresh.
