Position Overview: We are looking to hire a Finance Director to manage the financial reporting at Talus and at four investments located throughout New York’s Hudson Valley. The ideal candidate is a good communicator with experience in reporting, financial planning & analysis, implementing financial controls, and process improvement. This role will report to the President of Hudson Harvest and manage several bookkeepers that reside at the unit level. The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. This position can be remote, but must be based in the Tri-State area.

• Hudson Harvest is a food distributor based in Germantown NY that sources, processes, and distributes local food to over 250 retail, institutional, and foodservice customers throughout the Tri-State area. www.hv-harvest.com

• Sugar Hill Farm is a pork farm located in Pine Plains, NY. The farm breeds, grows, processes and sells high quality pork products to Hudson Harvest and direct-to-consumer through its Farm store. www.sugarhillfarmllc.com
• Hudson Performance Center is an auto repair shop located in Pine Plains, NY. Formerly Pine Plains Auto Repair.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of five years of finance or accounting experience
• Experience managing remote teams
• Motivated self-starter that is able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
