INEOS has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Leader, Americas to join our Composites business at our Dublin, OH location.
INEOS Composites is a global chemical business with revenue in excess of $1 billion. The Composites business has 6 manufacturing operations in the US, 1 in Brazil, 4 in Europe, 2 in China along with offices and headquarters in Ohio, Barcelona and Shanghai. The Composites Business primary products include unsaturated polyester resins (UPRs), vinyl ester resins (VERs) and gel coats.
Job Objective
The Finance Leader, Americas will lead the finance function across both Brazil and North America and be part of the regional leadership team reporting to the SVP of the Americas. This position is a key member of the regional leadership team and will support delivery of our strategic plan. The Finance Leader, Americas, will be responsible for all finance activities in the Americas region, supporting the region with all finance needs and be responsible for developing the finance organization within the region. There will be direct interaction with the Global INEOS Composites CFO and the finance leaders for the other INEOS Composites regions, along with interaction across the broader INEOS company's finance organization.
Key Responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:
- Manage and develop the America's finance team, located in Columbus, Ohio, and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Includes accounting, control, account receivables, accounts payables, cash management, budgeting and forecasting
- Responsible for delivering all financial reporting for the region includes Income statement, fixed costs, product line statements, cash flow, and working capital
- Prepare rolling 3-month P&L forecast with input from commercial teams and costs managers
- Play a proactive role in the regional leadership team, not just limited to financial input, supporting strategy and business objectives
- Work closely regional groups such as Commercial, Procurement, and Technology to deliver budgets through financial data analysis
- Lead annual budgeting process for the Americas
- Build relationships with other INEOS business teams
- Ability to lead a team to deliver ad-hoc projects to tight deadlines
- Manage relationships with external advisors such as auditors, banking, and tax professional
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- MBA/CPA preferred
- Excellent and proven leadership skill
- At least 10 years of finance team management experience of progressive responsibilities, ideally within a manufacturing organization.
- Demonstrated project management capability
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Ability to present complex analyses effectively to support sound decision-making
- Ability to challenge information provided through research, relationships and critical thinking
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Strong process-based skill set
- Strong financial acumen
- Confident communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to drive projects to completion, operating at all levels in the business
- Results orientated, delivery focused, and self-motivated
