Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager specialising in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in driving financial strategy, providing insightful analysis, and supporting decision-making processes across the organisation.

• Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modelling
• Oversee the month-end reporting cycle, delivering comprehensive management reports to senior leadership
• Analyse financial results, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations for business initiatives
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to evaluate business performance and support growth strategies
• Implement and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering their professional development
• Prepare and present financial analyses and reports for board meetings and investor relations
• Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
• Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as required

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 8+ years of post-qualification experience
• Proven experience in a commercial finance function, with a focus on FP&A
• Strong expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and data visualisation tools
• Understanding of international financial reporting standards
• Experience with financial risk management
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience in the Malaysian financial landscape is advantageous
