Reporting to the Portuguese Branch CFO, your responsibilities will include:

• Accounting management of invoices and payments to suppliers 
• Supporting the development and optimization of tax models for Portugal, as well as preparing financial reports 
• Preparing regulatory reports for the Bank of Portugal, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements 
• Assisting in the control of the branch’s P&L and identifying improvements and deviations from the budget 
• Supporting the management of account audits and other types of audits for both branches 

We are looking for someone who…

• Has strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative 
• Is proficient in Excel (programming skills not required) 
• Has knowledge of corporate accounting and taxation, ideally with some previous experience in auditing (though not essential) 
• Is eager to learn and motivated to take on a new challenge in a key position 
• Has strong communication skills 
• Has a high level of English
