Financial Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION Financial Accountant Austin, TX – Onsite Compensation:Up to $100,000 + Bonus Job Summary The Financial Accountant will play a key role in supporting month-end close, accounting transactions, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include accruals, intercompany accounting, lease accounting, equity method investments, and other close activities. There are no cons that I can think of.” Responsibilities • Prepare accurate and timely journal entries in the financial ERP system • Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies • Manage intercompany transactions, accruals, and eliminations • Perform monthly income statement analysis for assigned entities • Assist with consolidations and preparation of financial statements • Partner with operations and project teams on contract and asset changes • Support internal controls, process improvements, and workflow efficiency • Respond to external auditor and vendor inquiries • Participate in ad hoc and special projects as needed Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration • CPA or CPA eligible preferred • 2–3 years of relevant work experience, ideally including public accounting experience with a large firm • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to work under deadlines • Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement analysis • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; NetSuite and/or Adaptive experience preferred • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams #GAAP #PublicAccounting #Energy #Construction #Oil #RenewableEnergy #RapidGrowth #ATX #AustinJobs #Accounting #LI-MB1 #INSEP2025
