Zions Bancorporation is accepting applications for a Financial Analyst to support the Investment Department. This role has a 3/2 hybrid work schedule.
- Creates and analyzes financial statements and other financial documents or data to aide management in decision making process.
- Responsible to complete analysis in the following areas: yield and risk analysis, valuation, stress testing, SOX controls, financial modeling, etc., utilizing related analytical tools and procedures.
- Responsible for financial analysis of the Company's portfolio.
- Prepares and presents materials to a quarterly upper management Committee.
- Prepares short and long term financial planning reports of key performance indicators, ad hoc analysis reports, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's in accounting, finance or related field
- 2+ years experience in accounting, financial analysis, budgets or other directly related experience.
- A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Working knowledge of financial analysis practices, principles, applications and analysis methods.
- Must have strong analytical skills.
- Ability to develop financial models.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare oral and written reports.
- Ability to work in a heavily deadline oriented environment.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to identify, research, coordinate and resolve issues.
- Works effectively with co-workers and both internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
