We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team in the Salt Lake City location.
You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have the skills and experience necessary to:
- Generate financing scenarios and models using Excel and industry standard bond structuring software. Examples of analysis include bond sizing, cash flow analysis, tax impact analysis and financial forecasting.
- Gather and analyze data to perform comprehensive client and credit research.
- Update credit models and debt portfolios.
- Monitor and analyze market conditions.
- Draft responses to requests for proposals to acquire new clients.
- Partner closely with investment bankers to develop creative financing strategies that best fit the goals of a particular client. May include some travel and attendance at meetings.
- Assist clients with understanding financing options.
Who should apply?
- Requires a Bachelor's in accounting, finance, math or economics or related field.
- A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications. Basic knowledge of financial analysis practices, principles, applications, and analysis methods.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Must have solid analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to develop financial models.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prepare oral and written reports.
- Ability to work in a heavily deadline-oriented environment. Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to identify, research, coordinate and resolve issues. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Works effectively with co-workers and both internal and external customers. Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
- Willingness to obtain relevant FINRA licensees (50, 52) within 12 months.
- Demonstrate initiative and seek additional development opportunities.
