Sr. Financial Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

Located at the BorgWarner Propulsion Technical Center (PTC) and reporting to the ETTS Sr Finance Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial analysis, support and guidance to the Emissions, Thermal Systems and Turbo Systems (ETTS) business unit. The position will interact with a wide range of financial and operational personnel within ETTS and at the Corporate office.

KEY ACCOUNTABLITIES

• Consolidation and analysis of reporting unit results and preparation of business unit-level reports for submission to Corporate office including:
  • Monthly actual results and related reports
  • Monthly financial forecast and related reports
  • Budget and Long-Range Plan
  • Capital and Tooling forecasts
  • Quarterly balance sheet reviews presented to Corporate Controller
• Business unit liaison to Corporate for OneStream financial reporting software application. Primary point of contact to ETTS reporting units for OneStream issues
• Coordinate and oversee financial reporting deliverables from all ETTS reporting units
• Organize, coordinate, prepare various templates, and participate in monthly earnings call meetings
• Perform financial analysis relative to business performance, forecast and plans
• Assist with OneStream-based group financial reporting systems maintenance and controls
• Design and create OneStream-based excel spreadsheets used in group reporting and analysis functions
• Other projects as assigned

Education/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• 6 years or more experience
• Strongly prefer previous experience in the automotive industry
• Prior manufacturing plant experience preferred
• CPA or CMA preferred
• MBA preferred

Relevant Experience

• Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required
• Experience with OneStream preferred
• Experience with SAP preferred
• Knowledge of ICFR/SOX
