Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Wireless is seeking a Financial Analyst II for a fast-paced, highly technical business environment. This position will focus on key projects within the CTO Org and Cloud platform to enhance reporting, improve financial processes, and create governance. The role offers opportunities to make significant contributions as the business transitions from a build to run state, ensuring efficient and effective business and financial functions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide financial oversight for a rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the annual budget and rolling forecasts
• Develop and maintain weekly and monthly models for operational and financial performance, focusing on cloud consumption
• Use financial modeling and a hypothesis-based approach to assess multi-year agreements and long-term savings
• Manage month-end processes including spend analysis, account reconciliation, accruals, variance analysis, P&L review, and reporting
• Oversee the accrual and corrections process, including report generation, meetings with internal clients, and communicating significant corrections to management

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting/finance environment, preferably in the telecom or tech industries
• MBA or MS - Finance is a plus but not required

Skills And Qualifications

• Advanced skills in MS Excel
• Proficiency with financial tools (e.g., Smartview, Onestream)
• Understanding of business financial and accounting concepts (Accruals, Reversal, GAAP principles, etc.)
• Intellectual curiosity, outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to seek, organize, analyze, and draw valid conclusions with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal skills, well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials to communicate effectively with senior executives

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
