Financial Data Solutions Analyst

The Financial Data Solutions Analyst will support the Manager, Financial Data Solutions in gathering and analyzing financial data across various systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy. This role will provide opportunities to directly impact the Finance and Accounting organization’s processes and procedures through delivery of automated dashboard reporting and processing of accounting data. Primary Job Functions: • Data mining and reporting from various financial and transactional systems. • Collaborate with Finance & Accounting, IT, and other business resources to develop and test finance data solutions and enhancements (i.e. automated data extractions, Python-generated journal entries, etc.) • Develop detailed charts, dashboards, automated reports and presentations related to KPI’s and project results • Perform quantitative and statistical analysis • Respond promptly to ad-hoc reporting requests • Develop SQL scripts and stored procedures for data transmission • Maintain and update various financial databases, dashboards, and spreadsheets to ensure continued accuracy, integrity, and stakeholder relevance • Create technical documents for requirements/design and internal communication • Troubleshoot and provide support to end users through analysis of data and/or application issues • Support Finance & Accounting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process, as needed The above cited duties and responsibilities describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to the job.
