Job Description:

The position is responsible for preparing and reporting the Group consolidated Financial Statements, supplementary footnotes and management reports and in accordance with the Diageo Group Accounting Standards in accordance with IFRS and Turkish Trade law principles. Also working in collaboration with Group Financial Reporting Team, FP&A and other finance functions for further analyses.

  • Own and review the processes around financial & management reporting
  • Design, implement and manage an accurate & timely control process
  • Perform comparative brand-based profitability analyses to understand the dynamics behind changes within comparative periods
  • Provide detailed analysis before/after closings, compare results with the forecasts
  • Provide strategy, direction and support for team during reporting requirements gathering, peer reviews, development, and delivery
  • Provide support on CARM process and audits
  • Improve and streamline processes and flows to increase the effectiveness and efficiency to enhance the reporting capabilities


Qualifications :
  • University degree in Economics or Business Administration
  • Advanced IFRS knowledge
  • 5-7 years of experience in audit firms, financial reporting or related fields
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English
  • Ability to prioritize work for the team
  • Ability to quickly understand business requirements and influence decisions at the onset
  • Building and leading partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders and their teams
  • Knowledge and exposure to international accounting issues and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and multi-tasking
  • Analytical and structured thinking ability
  • Flexible, highly motivated and result oriented
