Become a key team member for a Federal Government client! BreakForth Solutions is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to support a program that supports budget formulation and systems analysis. This position will be responsible for providing analysis and decision-making information to Senior Leadership.

Essential Functions• Work with a team, in the formulation and execution of the client's budget, strategic planning, financial management, the presentation of accurate financial information, and management integrity.• Assist in developing the scope of work and work plans necessary to define and solve systems-related problems in areas such as automated systems, information management, internal controls, work methods, and procedures.• Develop, design, revise, and implement policy, procedures, handbooks, security plans, and automated systems pertaining to the functions of the client.• Analyze the accounting needs of programs and determine whether they should be automated. Develops functional requirements documents specifying accounting requirements. Develops statements of work describing the automation services to be acquired.

Education/Skills/Experience Requirements:• BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years applicable experience.• Experience with Government financial and accounting systems and processes.• Customer service skills, and experience with user support.• Experience as a systems analyst, including requirements, testing, and procedures.• Public Trust or Secret clearance.

Desired Knowledge/Skills• Experience writing user/procedural material and responding to users clearly and succinctly.• Multi-tasking skills, and comfort in working independently.• Interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with tact and professionalism.• Ability to analyze problems, develop a path toward problem-solving, and continue the process to completion.• Effective planning and organizational skills, and ability to be flexible in a rapidly changing environment.• Experience with tools like Power BI, SQL, etc.
