Finish Carpenter

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trim carpentry and remodeling, with the ability to fabricate and install various wooden structures and fixtures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently on construction sites while adhering to safety standards. Duties • Perform trim carpentry tasks, including the installation of moldings, baseboards, and door casings. • Execute flooring installation projects with precision and care. • Fabricate custom wood pieces according to project specifications. • Apply caulking and finishing touches to ensure a polished appearance. • Conduct mold remediation tasks as needed to maintain structural integrity. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites, including electrical teams, to ensure seamless project execution. • Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks. • Participate in remodeling projects, transforming spaces according to client needs and design plans. • Build and install cabinetry, shelving units, and other wooden structures as required. Skills • Proficiency in trim carpentry techniques and practices. • Experience with flooring installation methods and materials. • Ability to fabricate custom woodwork tailored to specific requirements. • Knowledge of caulking techniques for finishing work. • Familiarity with mold remediation processes in construction settings. • Understanding of basic electrical work related to carpentry projects is a plus. • Competence in using power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders safely. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration on job sites.
