We are a premier custom furniture manufacturer specializing in building and installing unique pieces for bars, nightclubs, and restaurants. We're looking for an experienced,Finish Carpenter/Install Managerto lead our installation team. This is a critical leadership role that requires a deep understanding of finish carpentry and project management. As a dynamic, hands-on manager, you'll be the driving force behind our field operations, responsible for ensuring every installation meets our high standards for quality, efficiency, and safety. Your ability to lead, plan, and execute projects will help us exceed client expectations and maintain profitability.
What You'll Do
• Lead the Crew:Directly supervise and coordinate multiple installation teams across various projects, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. You'll act as a mentor and supervisor, delegating tasks, motivating the team, and resolving any issues that arise in the field.
• Own the Project:Take ownership of project layouts by interpreting construction plans and sketches. You will be responsible for preparing material lists, procuring supplies, and ensuring the team is fully equipped before an installation begins.
• Collaborate and Communicate:Work closely with our production and design teams to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and ensure projects are completed on schedule. You will also be the main point of contact for project managers and clients on-site.
• Ensure Quality:Uphold our commitment to excellence by ensuring all installations are completed with the highest level of craftsmanship. You will be responsible for quality control and field inspections, stepping in to perform hands-on installation duties as needed.
What We're Looking For
• Proven Leadership:Minimum of5 years of proven experiencein finish carpentry with a strong background in custom cabinetry and millwork. You must have a demonstrated history of leading and managing a construction or installation crew.
• Technical Knowledge:Blueprints and architectural drawings are a must. Proficiency with aCAD program is required, andSketchUp is a plus. A strong understanding of various materials (wood, metal, upholstery) is also essential.
• Project Management Skills:You must have a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including impeccable organization, creating "to-do" lists, and keeping detailed records.
• Driven & Adaptable:A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is not easily overwhelmed. You must be highly motivated with a great attitude, ready to tackle challenges and instill a sense of pride in workmanship within your team.
• Communication:A natural problem-solver with a strong, yet approachable and helpful demeanor. You must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, vendors, and peers.
• Reliability:Avalid driver's license is required, and you must be insurable. You will also be required to undergo a background check and drug screening.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,500.00 - $68,000.00 per year
