Finisher - Day Shift

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Operates Finishing equipment • Use measuring equipment • Must be a certified forklift operator • Use Saws and Hand tools • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition • Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision • Utilize safe work habits • Wear appropriate PPE • Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures • Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures • Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures • Other duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS • Ability to read pressure gauges • Ability to work overtime and shift work as required • Ability to read labels on pipe along with specs on paper • Good vision required for safe operation of forklift • Standing up to 12 hours daily • Walking up to 12 hours daily • Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly • Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily • Assist where and when needed as required • Utilize recommended safe work habits and make use of all safety equipment provided • Assist with OJT (On Job Training) employees as needed • Travel less than 10% EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS • High School diploma or equivalent • Three years of verifiable work history • Ability to read, write and speak English preferred BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES • Dependability/Attendance • Problem Solving/Judgement • Thoroughness TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES • Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required • Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations
