We are currently looking for a mid - senior level software / mechatronics engineer. An ideal candidate will have had at least 2 years of prior experience in a related role, be well versed in python / C++, and have good knowledge of low voltage circuitry and electronic hardware. Most importantly, we look for someone who is willing to learn quickly and take initiative. Technical Responsibilities: • Support development of the store’s control server, interfacing with multiple electromechanical systems to maximize efficiency in software and coordination of physical movements • Improve upon firmware for subsystems in the store such as 6 DOF robotic arms, custom seventh-axis rail systems, and delivery platforms • Prototype and test new electromechanical systems • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration and develop supporting software features that enhance automation and system performance Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in (Software/Electrical/Mechatronics/Mechanical) Engineering or related field. • 2+ years of proven experience in software design and development • Industry experience working with Python / C++ • Experience programming microcontrollers (Arduino, esp32, stm32, etc.) • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and project management skills Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with robotic systems, real-time software, embedded systems • Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and software scalability • Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) • Experience with dev tools such as Jira and Git Job Type:Contract Pay:$60,000 to $100,000 Ability to Commute: • Pasadena, CA 91105 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Pasadena, CA 91105: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Ability to Commute: • Las Vegas, NV 89118 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Las Vegas, NV 89118: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
