FL97 is seeking a dedicated and skilled VP/SVP, Life Science Strategy to join our team. The role will focus on…

Responsibilities Include:

Product and Commercial Strategy:

• Generate a framework and strategic map of value-creation opportunities from FL97’s life sciences platform
• Collaborate with Business Development to define a framework for when FL97 should contemplate executing different business models in Life Sciences (spinouts, partnerships, etc.)
• Define FL97’s initial portfolio of Vanguard Products and long-term roadmap. Connect FL97’s product strategy with the AI Research Team’s strategy and Grand Challenges to create coherence between the two forms of value creation.
• Defined detailed target product profiles (TPPs) for Vanguard Products from each AI Science Factory. Translate the product opportunities into requirements that shape the current and future development of FL97's AI Science Factory
• Collaborate to map value creation milestones and value inflection points to investor expectations inherent in fundraising outcomes
• Product Development and Project Management
• Define and initiate the operating cadence for FL97’s life sciences product programs.
• Drive program management for FL97’s Life Sciences product programs—relentlessly remove roadblocks to deliver market-aligned products
• Collaboration
• Act as a thought leader across the Life Sciences team to remove friction and ensure a constant acceleration of problem solving and decision making
• Collaborate with technical leaders to ensure we have maximum utilization and speed of the platform toward value
• Work closely with the CPO, Materials to have a translation layer between ROI based views across Life and Physical Sciences of the incremental value associated with new programs

Qualifications:

• PhD in life sciences discipline
• Experience in product valuation
• Large pharma company and small biotech experience
• Experience managing high performing teams
• Plus (but not necessary): Business development experience
• Plus (but not necessary): AI experience

Working at FL97, you would have access to advanced technology in the areas of:

• AI experimental design and simulation
• Automated liquid handling and custom instrumentation
• Generative molecular design
