Full job description Overview We are looking for a part-time and full-time FLSD. 1). Sundays 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., 12 hours per week. We are a leading private security organization and have immediate job opportunities for fire life safety directors at Class "A" properties in Manhattan. The starting wage is $28.00 per hour. You must be a NYS licensed security guard and hold a valid F-89 or T-89 license. Specific Duties and Essential Functions • Maintaining accurate fire and life safety logbooks in accordance with the NYC Fire Code • Be a liaison between property management, building staff, and first responders in the event of an emergency. • communicate with site supervisors and property management • Conduct drills, training, and other day-to-day oversight of the fire and life safety plan in accordance with the NYC Fire Code. • Ensure that all FDNY inspections, testing, and maintenance are scheduled, completed, and documented. • Assist in securing the facility as required by the site, which may include access control, patrols, and other assigned duties. Qualifications Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required: • Must be a New York State licensed security officer. • must have a valid F-89 or T-89 license. • must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • must be able to pass any state-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
