Flux Core Welder

Now Hiring: Structural Welders Location: Philadelphia, PA Long Term Project Wages: $28.00 Per Hour $150.00 Per Diem offered, if eligible Experience: 5+ years’ work experience in shipbuilding, ship repair and/or heavy steel fabrication. Must have current experience with flux core welding. Essential Functions: Knowledge and proficiency of heavy shipyard construction welding in all positions. Welding process includes: o FCAW – Flux Core Arc Welding Knowledge, understanding and demonstration of interpreting approved Welding Procedure Specifications. Knowledge and ability on how to use all tools related to welding, including basic trouble shooting and maintaining welding equipment to assure a safe and efficient operation. Welder must proficiently demonstrate welding ability through performance and testing as determined by project. Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Must successfully pass 1st class Skill Test. Must Successfully pass a background check and drug test. Must be willing to work any shift and overtime if required.
