Job Title:              Food & Beverage Assistant (live in option available)
Location:              Ashridge House, Berkhamsted, HP4 1NS
Reports to:           Food & Beverage Manager

Salary:                  £8.91 per hour

Hours:                  Full time (annualised hours, including weekends)

From weddings and afternoon teas to corporate meetings and gala dinners, the team strive to deliver the highest of service to all guests. Responsibilities include

• Waiting at tables across numerous dining areas and engaging with guests in a polite and friendly manner
• Serving drinks in the bar, demonstrating knowledge of all products and up selling and advising guests
• Undertaking duties in all areas, including the Courtyard Café and other client spaces
• Laying tables for weddings, afternoon teas, private functions, and other prestigious events
• General duties to include cleaning of dining rooms, coffee areas, bar, still room, ironing of table linen. polishing cutlery and keeping all areas to the highest of standards

Candidate Profile

• Strong sense of customer service
• Highly enthusiastic, agile, and has entrepreneurial spirit
• Highly motivated and goal oriented
• Has strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Enjoys working under pressure in a high-paced environment
• Goes above and beyond to deliver a high-quality experience
• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress and a good understanding of food and beverage is desirable
