Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking aFood Service Manager 2 in Long Branch, NJ for Long Branch Public Schools. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with stellar communication skills and the ability to effectively manage front-line employees in a dynamic environment. The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, knowledge of the NSLP guidelines, USDA commodities, and managing a team in a K-12 environment is strongly preferred. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. What You'll Do
- have oversight of day-to-day operations with a focus on delivering high-quality food service
- achieve company and client financial targets and goals
- develop and maintain client and customer relationships while creating a positive environment
- develop strategic plans
- ensure Sodexo standards are met

What You Bring
- have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
- have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
- can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
- prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
- proficiency in computer skills and report management experience
