Summary of Responsibilities:
· Serves as the key liaison with National Account Champions to support all plant involvement which supports national customers.
· Manages all plant communications aspects across multiple departments to ensure all relevant direction and changes are followed. This involves both new and discontinued products.
· Troubleshooting and solution-based approach to daily challenges across multiple departments (QA, Buying, Operations, R&D, Commercialization, Transportation, Customer Service)
· Creates/Manages product specifications for new and revised products
· Assist R&D & Commercialization on innovation as well as recipe development based on customer strategy.
· Works closely with procurement on new and discontinued items to ensure ingredient inventories are managed effectively
· Develops price modeling which requires understanding multiple operational practices such as labor, overhead, efficiency planning
· Assist with National Bid pricing for key customers
· Sales analysis and ongoing tracking of customer product sets supported by plant
·Successful candidate must be able to work effectively as a team player, possess effective communication and organization skills, interact proactively with cross-functional teams and provide strong technical support. This position requires a solution driven approach that challenge the day to day obstacles.
Essential Functions:
1. Work closely with National Account Managers, Procurement, National Analysts and QA teams in rolling out new products and transition of existing products
2. Manage good communication and relationship with national account managers and provide support in new product development and commercialization processes
3. Work collaboratively with Buying, Operations, Commercialization and QA to scale up and develop processes as preparation for product launches
4. Perform strong technical problem-solving skills related to the managing multiple customer initiatives
5. Understand Operational limitations and capabilities at the facility and work cross-functionally to meet customer’s expectation
6. Develop and identify best production and commercialization practices to share across TF Deli facilities
7. Create and manage all costing models, production specifications and communications relating all new and discontinued items
Requirements:
• Strong sales, planning and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills-written, verbal and interpersonal
· Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
· At least 3 years of experience in Project Management or Customer Management role.
· Passionate about food
· Must have a “can-do” solution-based attitude to work in a hectic environment that is evolving and growing
· Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; able to learn new programs
· System expertise to understand and develop pricing models and the ability to analyze profitability across product sets.
· Experience in Packaging, Fresh-Cut, Deli products and MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) is a plus
· Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biological Sciences, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration is a plus

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
