Foreman Carpenter – High-End Residential

Position Summary: We’re hiring aForeman Carpenterto join our small, high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional residential renovations in Brooklyn and Manhattan. This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned carpenter with10–15 years of foreman experiencein high-end NYC residential construction. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, fast yet meticulous, and comfortable collaborating closely with both tradespeople and project leadership. We’re looking for someone who isenergetic, thoughtful, meticulous, reliable, and brings acan-do attitudeto jobsite challenges. You should be equally comfortable with rough and finish carpentry, with moderate skills in plaster and paint. You’ll work under the guidance of a site superintendent and will assist in reviewing the work of other trades as needed to maintain quality across the board. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage day-to-day carpentry work on active job sites • Collaborate with the site superintendent to ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and schedule • Perform high-quality rough and finish carpentry, with additional plaster and paint touch-ups as needed • Review the work of other trades (electrical, plumbing, etc.) with direction from the site superintendent • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site • Mentor junior carpenters and help maintain a positive, efficient team culture • Communicate proactively with project leadership and team members Qualifications: • 10–15 years of experienceas a foreman carpenter on high-end residential projects in NYC • Expert-level skills in rough and finish carpentry • Moderate skill in light plaster and painting • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently within a team • Familiarity with NYC jobsite logistics, standards, and permitting environment • Excellent communication and leadership skills • OSHA 30 certification preferred • Own tools, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Professional development assistance • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
