Position: Foreman
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to join our construction team. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of construction projects on site. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and deliver projects to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and manage construction crews, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent and Project Manager to allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, including architectural and structural plans.
• Conduct daily inspections of tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and general contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering skill development and professional growth.
• Resolve on-site issues or conflicts and coordinate with field and office teams for support as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
• 3–5 years of experience as a Foreman in Framing & Drywall or 8+ years of field experience in Framing & Drywall with a track record of successful projects.
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Ability to speak and understand English; Spanish fluency is a plus.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Plexxis, Bluebeam).
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and commitment to safety.
• Ability to use tablets, computers, tools, and equipment necessary for the role.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Compensation
This is a paid position. Competitive pay will be based on experience and qualifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
