Foreman/Electrician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and electrical work, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality control while ensuring that all electrical installations comply with local codes and regulations. 10 years demonstrated experience in Las Vegas Valley. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore for project scheduling and management. • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards including OSHA regulations. • Collaborate with project managers on budgeting and construction estimating for electrical projects. • Supervise apprentices or junior electricians, providing guidance on best practices in the field. • Perform troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues in electrical systems. • Ensure all work is completed according to contracts and project specifications. Skills • Proficient in Concrete Tilt up buildings, Tenant Improvements, Inline retail and Underground electrical installations. • Strong understanding of construction site experience and project scheduling. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. • Knowledge of budgeting practices related to construction projects. • Experience in construction estimating and quality control measures. • Familiarity with OSHA standards related to electrical work. • Excellent management skills with prior supervising experience preferred. • Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
