Founding Designer

Exa is building an API to the world's knowledge unlike any that have ever existed. Want to design the next-gen of search?

What you will do

• Lead Exa's brand identity and maintain brand guidelines across all platforms and touchpoints
• Think up new interfaces for finding information in a new world of automated intelligence
• Design delightful interfaces for our front-end search and API playground

Example projects

• Redesign our website
• We're developing a version of our search that is extremely powerful -- design the interface for it
• Work with front-end engineering to rethink the architecture of our developer console and onboarding experience.
• Create eyecatching and unique visuals to tell our story and sell our API product

About you

• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite; Frontend knowledge is a plus.
• Strong background in graphic design and brand development. Illustration or motion is a plus.
• Expertise in UX/UI principles for complex technical products.
• Great storytelling skill through visuals and writing.
• 3+ years of experience, with ideally at least 1-2 years of in-house design experience.
• You thrive in high velocity, high growth, scrappy startup environment
