Awardco is reimagining the workplace to be more rewarding, supportive, and fun for everyone. As one of the fastest-growing companies in the employee experience industry, our mission is to help employees love what they do, love where they work, and get recognized for their efforts—especially our own employees! And as winners of Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work, Best in Brightest in the Nation, and Great Place to Work, we do much more than talk the talk.

At Awardco, we are committed to transforming the workplace experience by fostering a culture of appreciation and recognition. As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a vital role in driving financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making and contribute to our continued growth. We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical thinker who is passionate about financial data and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. If you are ready to be part of a collaborative team that values innovation and employee empowerment, we invite you to join us on our exciting journey.

What you will accomplish:

  • Financial Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute annual budgets and forecasts. Analyze historical financial data and trends to identify key insights and support accurate forecasting processes. Monitor budget performance, highlight variances, and work with stakeholders to address discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis on various business initiatives and projects. Evaluate financial performance, assess ROI, and provide valuable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. Assist in preparing financial models, scenario analysis, and business cases for potential investments.
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Prepare and maintain regular financial reports and performance dashboards for senior management and key stakeholders. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of financial data to aid strategic decision-making processes.
  • Data Management: Oversee the integrity and accuracy of financial data in internal systems. Regularly update financial databases and work with IT teams to streamline data processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist in the development of the annual budgeting process and participate in forecasting exercises. Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights and align financial plans with organizational goals.
  • Financial Insights and Recommendations: Identify areas for improvement in financial performance, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue growth potential. Collaborate with business partners to implement data-driven solutions that drive financial success.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Support special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as requested by senior management or department heads. Prepare presentations and present findings to stakeholders, providing meaningful insights to guide decision-making.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a dynamic and fast-growing company.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive mindset, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial planning software is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA are advantageous but not required.

Why Awardco:

  • One of the fastest growing companies in the nation: 3x Inc. 500, 2x Deloitte Technology Fast 500, 2x Mountain West Capital Network Fast 100, 3x Fast 50 (Utah Business), and 3x UV50 Fastest Growing Companies (BusinessQ), to name just a few.
  • Great Place to Work certified, one of the Best and Brightest companies to work for, and ranked on the Salt Lake Tribune's Top Workplaces.
  • A revolutionary, client-approved product.
  • Leadership that listens.
  • New 200,000 sq. ft. headquarters.
