About the Role
We are looking for an FP&A Coordinator with an analytical, collaborative, and business-oriented profile. This professional will be responsible for analyzing and controlling the financial performance of the Professional Hygiene Business Unit for Brazil, Peru, and Chile, covering P&L, Working Capital, and Cash Flow.
Your activities will include analyzing revenue, costs, expenses, and margins by product family and sales channel, as well as explaining deviations between planned and actual results. In this role, the coordinator will be responsible for designing and executing financial controls, connecting accounting to business strategies. They must also ensure that financial systems and procedures comply with corporate policies and Business Unit guidelines.
This is a permanent position based in São Paulo – SP, in a hybrid model (50% of working days on-site), in the Finance area, with a hybrid work model. The FP&A Coordinator will report directly to the Senior Sales & Marketing Controller CE Latam, and the challenge of this position is to be recognized as a strategic partner in creating value for the business.
What You Will Do
- Be the finance reference for the business unit.
- Lead the creation of budgets and forecasts for the business unit.
- Coordinate and execute the monthly consolidation of the BU (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and the consolidation of long-term financial plans.
- Evaluate projects and various scenarios.
- Monitor and track the performance and deviations of the Business Unit against the plan, providing explanations and proposing corrective plans.
- Contribute to defining guidelines, instructions, and report content aligned with Corporate Finance.
- Prepare and provide information to the BU leadership team on all operational financial aspects.
- Follow Essity’s control standards and other policies.
Who We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
- Knowledge of consolidation and reporting systems (Hyperion, Magnitude, AARO, etc.).
- Experience with ERPs, such as Microsiga and SAP, is desirable.
- General knowledge of accounting (corporate and managerial).
- General knowledge of finance (P&L, Cash Flow, Working Capital).
- Office Suite: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge of Power BI and database tools will be a differential.
- Languages: Advanced Portuguese and English, Spanish will be considered a plus.
