Frac Sand Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving environments, including commercial driving and delivery services. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service while transporting goods to designated locations. Ideally looking for someone mechanically inclined but not mandatory and someone very dependable. Preferably somebody in San Antonio so you can go home daily schedule ranges from your choice of 7 Days on 2 days off, 14 days on 5 days off, 21 days on 7 days off. But this also depends on which customer we're working with at the moment. Text 210-630-5539 Duties • Operate a variety of vehicles including tractor-trailers, belly dump, hopper bottom trailer. • Perform route driving to deliver freight efficiently and on time. • Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a safe driving record. • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. • Maintain accurate logs of hours driven, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Requirements • No experience with sand hauling necessary but is a plus. • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated. • Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred but not mandatory because our vehicle is Automatic. • Proven track record in truck driving or delivery driver experience with a strong emphasis on safety. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage routes effectively. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers. • Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
