Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various framing techniques and construction practices. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on a variety of projects, including residential and commercial builds. The Framer will be responsible for constructing frameworks that support roofs, walls, and other structures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Duties • Construct and install frameworks for buildings using wood, metal studs, or other materials. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project specifications. • Perform metal building erection and concrete forming as required by project needs. • Install rebar and execute concrete finishing tasks to ensure structural integrity. • Execute masonry work including bricklaying and block laying as necessary. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various framing tasks. • Conduct trim carpentry, siding installation, roofing, plastering, stucco application, and restoration work as needed. • Operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites when required. • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of framing with plumbing, electrical work, and other systems. • Maintain a clean and organized job site while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: • Proven experience in frame carpentry with a strong understanding of construction management principles. • Familiarity with metal stud framing techniques and heavy lifting requirements. • Experience in woodworking, remodeling projects, and restoration work is highly desirable. • Knowledge of welding practices is a plus. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. • Previous construction site experience is essential for navigating job site dynamics safely.
