Framing assistant / Woodworker / Carpenter

Overview We are seeking a skilled Woodworker who is accustomed to being around fine artwork to join our team, bringing craftsmanship and expertise to various projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in woodworking. The person must be able to learn quickly, follow instructions, and be very detail-oriented. Responsibilities • Construct and assemble wooden frames for artwork • Work closely with the shop foreman on projects • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively • Conduct heavy lifting and maneuver materials • Ensure compliance with safety regulations • Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications • Proven experience in woodworking, carpentry, or related fields • Familiarity with woodworking tools • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship • Previous experience in an art framing shop or related field is advantageous • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team If you possess the necessary skills and are passionate about woodworking and art, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
