Framing Carpenter

Overview: We’re looking for a Framing Carpenter to join our team! As aFraming Carpenterfor Esler Companies – Renewal by Andersen you’ll be responsible for supporting with the structural framing and trim work on projects for residential and commercial properties in an efficient manner, promote job worksite safety, provide excellent customer service, and exhibit pride and quality workmanship.Responsibilities: • Collaborative partner for the window and door installation process. • Practice efficient & safe demolition to minimally impact customers. • Provide Signature Service by working closely with the Lead Installer on each job site. • Preparation of window/doors and existing openings such as taping, caulking, and cleaning. • Exterior/Interior finish work on all products. • Understands and adheres to company and safety polices, proper lifting techniques and heat stress. • Other job duties as assigned.Qualifications: • Highly motivated, self-driven, and detailed oriented. • Knowledge of residential, commercial construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, quality control, and cost control; required. • Must be able to work with hand tools and gas-powered equipment properly, efficiently, and safely. • Basic knowledge of local city and state building codes; required. • If driving for the company, must have and maintain a valid state issued driver’s license and a clear driving record. • Ability to read prints. • 3 or more years’ experience as a framing or finish carpenter in residential or commercial brick and stucco applications; required. • Must be able to work a 5-day schedule, may include weekends and holidays. • Must provide own work tools.
