Freelance Content Writer - Ligue 1

We are seeking a talented and passionate Ligue 1 content writer to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in producing high-quality, engaging content for the DAZN News France platform, catering to a dedicated audience of French football fans.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

Content Production: Create compelling articles, match reports, previews, reviews, opinion pieces, and features focused on Ligue 1 for DAZN News France.

Story Discovery: Identify and develop trending stories within Ligue 1, ensuring our coverage is always current and relevant.

Autonomous Work: Operate independently to research, write, and edit content, demonstrating the ability to manage your workload without needing extensive oversight.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the DAZN News France editorial team to align your content with the overall editorial direction and goals.

Language Versatility: While the primary content will be in French, strong English communication skills are necessary for team collaboration and understanding editorial guidelines. 

Qualifications:

Experience in Sports Journalism: Previous experience writing about football or working in sports journalism, particularly with a focus on Ligue 1, is highly desirable.
