Freelance Marketing Material Designer

Overview The Asia Institute is a professional organization registered as the Kong and Allan Group LLC, and was founded in 2006 by connecting the four key sectors of society (private, public, not-for-profit and education) through a partnership network with a mission to build the leading education platform connecting Asia with the rest of the world. The Asia Institute has over a decade of experience hosting study abroad programs in Asia, and has worked with over 6,000 students and faculty. The Asia Institute is looking for an experienced marketing material designer to help tell our remarkable story. The marketing material designer will be responsible for creating promotional materials, compelling content and traditional media strategies for digital and print advertising. The candidate should have a background in marketing and experience with design software applications. Duties • Design and create high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, and digital ads. • Develop product illustrations and other graphics as needed. • Complete projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers etc. • Write engaging copy that complements visual elements for both digital and print advertising. • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies related to digital marketing and design. • Work within the company’s marketing budget. • Meet project driven deadlines. Skills • Proficiency in marketing design tools, including Adobe Illustrator. • Self-starter, capable of working effectively with direction and individually. • Experience with social media marketing strategies across platforms such as LinkedIn. • Excellent research skills to gather insights that inform design decisions with exceptional attention to detail. • Strong writing and editing skills to create persuasive messaging that drives engagement. • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions. • Excellent organization, prioritization, and project management abilities. • Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
