Central Bank is seeking a Front-End Website Designer to design and build delightful, performant, and accessible front-end websites. Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with our business, product managers, and marketing to identify requirements that maximize customer success

Create innovative and accessible front-end website designs using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and related libraries

Utilize your expertise in designing for a CMS platform that encompasses multiple brands

Create wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect compositions while considering specifications and requirements based on technical constraints and UX design principles

High-quality work with attention to detail and an eye for consistency ensuring a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties

Design or redesign websites, web pages, and web components that align with existing design standards

Update content in all sections of our corporate websites. This will include making copy updates, creating pages, and adding pre-approved content (images and text)

Create or update custom microsites that are built around the needs of the customer

Manage, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks by ensuring all assigned projects are completed on time and accurately

Keep current with the latest trends in web development in the industry and conceive strategies to incorporate these insights into Central Bank's future

General awareness of SEO and ADA best practices

Be a self-starter and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

Relevant degree desired, but candidate may work toward earning this or have advanced knowledge in this space.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing modern, responsive, cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML 5, CSS/SCSS grids and frameworks, JavaScript, and Bootstrap 4.

Strong work ethic in writing clean and concise HTML code that other development team members can easily incorporate with the .NET development.

Experience working on websites with a mobile-first design mentality.

In-depth knowledge of user-centered design methods and best practices.

A combination of critical and creative thinking, with meticulous attention to details.

Proficiency in developing prototypes at various levels of fidelity.

Expert-level proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or FigJam.

Experience designing for and working with content management systems (CMS) is preferred, Optimizely (Episerver) CMS a plus.

Familiarity with Section 508 and Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guidelines.

A portfolio showcasing your proven UX design capabilities.

Ability to collaborate and work on projects as a team as well as independently.

Able to quickly learn new programs/software needed to complete their assigned tasks.

A track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent projects.

Strong organizational abilities and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable with Microsoft Office programs specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as knowledgeable with Google Workspace
