Job Description
As part of the zSoftware development team you would be developing testing and supporting industry leading integration products that are central to digital transformation for large organizations. You will be part of the TXSeries and CICS TX development team (part of CICS portfolio) which is owned fully by the India Systems Development Lab. Being partof this team will provide an opportunity to drive the growth of zSoftware business hence making a lasting impact on large organizations that have a major impact on world economy.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As an IBM Information Management System team member you will use the latest tools and technologies available to deliver state-of-the-art software solutions for the Information Management Systems product. You will be responsible for ensuring that software components are expertly designed tested debugged verified and ready for integration into IBM’s world class hierarchical database solutions helping organizations improve their business outcomes in the global marketplace.
This role executes the tasks required to develop or test the Information Management Systems product to ensure it functions according to specifications and client requirements and meets the business needs. Development and testing activities cover all aspects of the product/system including function/component system performance and regression.
Successful candidates will have a strong desire to work through all phases of the software development lifecycle. A foundational understanding of software development principles and testing methodologies such as the Agile Software Development Lifecycle with a high degree of adaptability drive and willingness to accept new challenges is a must.
IMS has various set of tooling to work with IMS DB and TM you will be designing and development for some or all of these tools.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Java developer with strong object oriented programming and frontend application development skill.
- 7-12 Years of experience in Java and Front End Application Development.
- Knowledge of Java Ecplise WebUI’s
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript HTML CSS Carbon REACT and related web technologies
- Familiarity with front-end build tools and package managers
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in Design Thinking VSCode Extension Dev is a huge plus.
