Frontend Software Engineer

Position Overview: 

We're looking for a Frontend Software Engineer. You will be a part of a growing, innovative team and will work closely with the development and product management teams innovating to enhance our existing software and develop new products.  

In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that use JavaScript/TypeScript languages, React/Angular/NextJS/WebComponents frameworks and Azure Cloud services. 

What you will do: 

• Assist in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions using JS/TS languages and frontend web frameworks stack (React/Angular/NextJS/Lit). 

• Assist in web design and producing user interfaces using HTML5/CSS3 standards empowered high-level CSS frameworks (Bootstrap/Tailwind) and build with CSS frameworks (SASS/SCSS) 

• Assist in improving overall UX when working with products, support different form-factors and better accessibility 

• Assist in improving overall communication standards between components/services/applications using REST API protocol 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to system architecture discussions, and propose technical solutions. 

• Learn to develop scalable and reliable cloud-native applications on the Azure Cloud Platform, under the guidance of experienced engineers. 

• Follow best practices for security, performance, and reliability in software development and cloud architecture. 

• Write clean, well-structured code following established coding standards and practices. 

• Participate in code reviews, absorb feedback, and continuously improve coding skills. 

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development and cloud computing. 

What you will need: 

• Strong interest in software development and cloud computing, with a desire to learn and grow in these areas. 

• Acceptable knowledge of front-ends technologies, such as React and Angular gained through coursework, projects, or internships. 

• Acceptable knowledge of coding languages in this space: JS and TS 

• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts is a plus, with a willingness to learn and work with Azure Cloud Platform. 

• Familiarity with REST API patterns and guidelines is a plus 

• Familiarity with QA and E2E automation frameworks is a plus 

• Solid understanding of fundamental programming concepts and data structures. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement. 

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

• 2-5 years of professional experience 

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience
