We are looking for passionate and talented engineers to join us to build up and optimize a real-time, high-performance, large-scale distributed infrastructure for live streaming at TikTok. We will be deeply involved in the developmental lifecycle of critical product features, and collaborate closely with product managers to deliver the best live streaming experience for live streamers and viewers.

TikTok LIVE Revenue Engineering team is responsible for building a cutting-edge revenue ecosystem that includes innovative, and intuitive gifting and other revenue features. This ecosystem also encompasses a range of interactive games and activities designed to stimulate user spending. As a vital member of the engineering team, you will develop solutions that impact millions of users and live streamers.

Responsibilities:
- Develop TikTok LIVE gifts include 3D model rendering, animation implementation and interactive implementation.
- Development of interactive games for TikTok Live events.
- Optimise 3D gift performance and research the best practices of 3D rendering on mobile devices.
- Design and develop gift production tools and workflow to reduce the cost of gift production.
- Contribute innovative ideas towards gift creativity and explore graphic interactive technology that can be implemented in business.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related technical field.
- Experience and knowledge of computer graphics.
- Problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, with solid coding ability and good abstract ability.
- Passionate about Web 3D graphics rendering and animations.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong on WebGL, GLSL, Three.js, Babylon.js, PixiJS, Cocos Creator etc.
- Experience with advanced techniques in real-time rendering, character animation, physics simulation and geometry modelling.
- Experience with modern mobile graphic pipeline.
- Experience with web game developement.
- Experience with low-level performance profiling and optimization.
- Experience with 3D software such as Blender, C4D and game engines such as Unity, Unreal.
