New York, New York CategorySecurity Job IdP-100132 Job TypePart Time $17-$19.50/hr Job Requirements Silverseal is a fast-growing security and investigation company seeking to hire dedicated, professional, friendly, and customer service orientated Security Officers to work in an outdoor position at a construction site located in Midtown Manhattan. Shift Times: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour Job Responsibilities • Secure premises and personnel by standing on post and patrolling property • Maintain knowledge of the security procedures and practices • Strong ability to be attentive to detail and observant of surroundings • Responsible for guarding entrances, fire and trespassing exits • Responsible for detaining and removing offenders in contact with visitors or employees • Knowledge of operating walkie-talkie, two-way radio transceivers, and answering service calls for assistance • Adhere to company and client policies and procedures • Utilize the Closed-Circuit Television (“CCTV”) and access control system monitoring • Acknowledge, review, and respond to all operational alarms and security-related situations • Perform other duties assigned by supervisors related to security and safety • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain, snow, or heat Work Experience • A minimum of one (1) year work history in a security role • Valid NY State Security Guard License (Required) • Valid F01 License (Required) • Valid S60 (Required) • OSHA preferred • High School Diploma/GED • Provide friendly and exceptional customer service for the business • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to write accurate and concise reports for team members and supervisors • Ability to handle stressful situations and make sound judgement calmly and effectively • Individuals are required to stand for long hours on their feet Benefits • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance
