GENERAL FUNCTION:

Serves as a key member of the FTWA Investment Team and provides a range of support in partnership with the FTWA Sr PM, Investment Committee, and FTWA Chief Investment Strategist. This individual will serve primarily as an investment analyst and will be responsible for managing all investment ops and investment management-related large data sets. Oversees and continually develops a focus on quality control, client documentation oversight, and IT integrations, among other various support tasks. This position plays a key role interfacing between FTWA Investments, RIA Shared Services and FTWA Service teams, as well as Advisor teams.

Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive advisor and client experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performance, Composites, Reporting

• Responsible for monthly and quarterly performance reconciliation in partnership with the RIA Shared Services team.
• Provides FTWA management reporting after resolving advisor or account discrepancies vs. IPS, and reporting these metrics to Service, Advisors, and FTWA Senior Leadership
• Updates and disseminates final performance dashboards and data feeds to various stakeholders - FTWA Leadership, Advisor Teams, and Service.

Investment Due Diligence Books/Records

• Creates, maintains, and improves all Investment Due Diligence tracking and backup data files in an organized and timely fashion.
• Maintains books, records, and ongoing to-do lists for the team and for operational issues that are ongoing in nature.
• Reviews operational procedures and investment data management methods with an eye towards improvement, automation, and efficiency.
• Maintains lists and screen accounts for Approved, Monitor, and Not Eligible to be Held lists; for Mutual Fund, ETF, Equity, and Fixed Income securities and SMA manager holdings, and for appropriate IPS adherence and transition timelines.
• Filters monthly investment reports to the FTWA Investment Team and Advisors, IC, and FTWA Leadership as needed.

Advisor Oversight Metrics / Investment Quality Control Checks

• Performs IPS reviews, account screens against approved lists, and ongoing reviews to ensure all accounts align with stated investment objectives.

IT Data Feeds & Data Management

• Acts as team leader for large or complex data-sets and new IT deployments that involve data feeds, regular uploads, or recurring macros to be established to run smoothly and efficiently.

Support FTWA 'culture of documentation' via new Policies and Procedures

• Ensures all initiatives are properly documented to satisfy all stakeholders in the LOB (Leadership, IC, Compliance) and in the Bank (ie. Audit, Biz Controls, Legal. This will include documentation of Policies and Procedures, and Desktop manuals for the Investment team within given deadlines.

Strategic Improvements and Implementation

• Plays a key role as in the planning, testing and implementation of system enhancements and strategic investment platform conversions.
• Meets with key Investment and FTWA Advisor partners to review current challenges, uncover root causes, recommend course correction, and implement strategies to support business growth and efficiencies

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILTIES REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 2 years' work experience in investment analysis, financial industry, or related experience operations, call center, or related Investment Analysis, Customer Service, or Back Office experience
• Minimum 2 years' of project management experience or equivalent coursework. Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP preferred.
• Exceptional analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather information quickly and synthesize into actionable information.
• Possess a thorough understanding of business systems, processes, and industry requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple audiences and data sets with ease, accuracy, and a client-facing attitude.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Strong knowledge of PC related applications, including but not limited to Business Objects, Word, Access, Outlook, and Power Point. Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data using formulas, pivot tables, macros, and modeling.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to bring tasks to a successful conclusion.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
