Job Description
The Technical Challenge
Build an AI-powered, cloud-native platform that's flexible enough to handle any complex domain - whether it's tracking resources in extreme environments, coordinating large-scale emergency responses, or managing distributed inventories. This isn't another rigid enterprise system – you'll be creating an intelligent platform where users can describe what they need in plain English and the system adapts to deliver it.
Core Responsibilities
• Build an AI-native platform where LLMs serve as a primary UI alongside traditional interfaces
• Maintain enterprise-grade code quality despite rapid delivery pace
• Architect systems that are flexible enough for government compliance yet modern enough to delight users
• Establish development patterns and practices that will scale as we grow
Technology Stack
Frontend:Vue 3/React 18, TypeScript, Progressive Web Apps
Backend:Node.js with NestJS/Fastify, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL
AI/ML:Azure OpenAI, LangChain, pgvector
Infrastructure:Azure Kubernetes Service, Terraform, GitHub Actions
Integration:Kafka, IoT Hub, Real-time event processing, MCP Server,
Required Experience:
• 3+ years of full-stack development with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Production experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL and ClickHouse
• Track record of building complex, data-intensive applications
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Proven AI tool proficiency, demonstrating how you use AI to accelerate development, while maintaining enterprise code quality
Highly Valued:
• Experience building flexible, multi-tenant platforms
• Knowledge of government or healthcare security standards
• Experience with real-time analytics or time-series databases
• Background in building offline-capable applications
• Experience integrating LLMs into production applications
• Track record of working with IoT or sensor data
The Mission
Join a small, elite team building a revolutionary platform that will transform how government agencies and private enterprises manage mission-critical operations. We're replacing decades-old legacy systems with a cutting-edge, AI-first platform that adapts to any complex operational challenge.
You'll be among the founding developers creating a system that will:
• Process and analyze millions of real-time events across distributed networks
• Enable intelligent resource management across thousands of locations
• Support critical decision-making during time-sensitive operations
• Serve diverse users from field operators to executive decision-makers
The AI Platform Vision
We're creating an intelligent and extensible business automation platform that understands context, adapts to needs, and grows smarter over time. Imagine a system where:
• Users create custom workflows by describing them in plain English
• The platform automatically understands relationships between different data types
• Analytics and insights emerge naturally from the semantic data layer
• New capabilities can be added without touching core architecture
What Makes You Perfect for This Role
• You're a Platform Thinker:You build systems that adapt to new use cases without rewrites
• You Ship Fast but Safe:You know how to move quickly while maintaining enterprise-grade reliability
• You're User-Obsessed:You understand that field operators and executives have vastly different needs
• You're Mission-Driven:You want to build technology that makes real-world impact
This role offers a base salary in the range of$120,000–$170,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
