Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of programming languages and accounting principles, enabling them to develop and maintain software solutions that support financial operations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and financial acumen, making it essential for the candidate to be proficient in various accounting functions while also being adept at coding.
Duties
• Develop, test, and implement software applications that streamline accounting processes.
• Collaborate with the finance team to understand their software needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Maintain and update existing applications to ensure optimal performance and compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform account reconciliation, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
• Manage journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
• Utilize double entry bookkeeping principles to maintain accurate financial records.
• Support corporate accounting activities by providing technical solutions that enhance reporting capabilities.
• Work with accounting software, particularly , to integrate programming solutions that improve efficiency.
• Provide technical support for users of the accounting software, addressing any issues or concerns.
Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
• Proven experience in C+ programming with a solid understanding of financial accounting principles.
• Familiarity with account reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of journal entries, corporate accounting practices, and double entry bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in using accounting software, is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in both coding and financial documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment.
