We are hiring experienced Full Stack Mobile developers to help us build the next-generation of LBGTQ+ dating apps. We are specifically exploring maps-centric designs with boundary-pushing UI concepts, some of which are directly inspired by designs in the Mapbox gallery.

We are a small, agile, nimble company, so the ability to make an impact is significant. The position is permanent and full-time.

What you'll do:

• Work in a labs environment where you will help us build and launch the next generation of queer social dating experiences
• Develop with the latest technologies in evolving the architecture for current and future needs in order to develop innovative, consumer-facing mobile products, while supporting the product roadmap
• Work in an agile team with Product, Design, Support, and Marketing to respond to our users needs
• Help develop solutions end to end, from the design, to requirements, coding, refactoring, delivering, and maintenance
• Excel at communication with our distributed, remote team

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science, related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years experience with React, HTML, CSS
• Experience using design and architecture patterns
• Good sense of usability and product for mobile apps
• Strong sense of ownership, ability to work independently, and proven track record of driving products
• Shipped consumer mobile-first websites on Android or iOS

Nice to Have:

• Experience building progress web apps (PWAs)
• Experience with Javascript maps (Mapbox, Google maps)
• Experience with canvas-based javascript apps
• Experience in server technologies such as Nodejs or Ruby on Rails
• Full stack knowledge of technologies like Ruby, SQL, Linux, React Native, and AWS
• Knowledge of Java, Kotlin, or Swift with the Android or iOS SDK
• Experience using RxJava or ReactiveSwift
• Experience with advanced animations
• Experience with MVVM architectures
• Data-driven mindset
