Full time Certified Nurse Midwife - Sarasota, FL

Florida Woman Care is seeking a Full-time Certified Nurse Midwife for it's affiliated practice in beautiful Sarasota, FL.  This opportunity provides excellent mentorship. 

Certified nurse midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting in births, and providing health care to women post-pregnancy. The CNM will assist with prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients.

Position Highlights:

• Join an established and successful practice that has served the Sarasota community for over 20 years
• Large single-specialty group - 5 MDs (4 OB/GYN), 3 Midwives, 9 Nurse Practitioners
• 75 Deliveries per month as a group / 15 patients per day in office
• Full Scope of office and hospital 
• 5 offices - Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, and Port Charlotte - candidate has flexibility on where they are based
• Ability to pick your call schedule
• Schedule is 2 24 hour calls and 1 office day or 1 24 hour call and 3 office days
• Delivering hospital: Sarasota Memorial

Requirements:

• AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife 
• Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
• Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
• Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license

• CPR and NALS Certification

• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain

• One year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred

• Comfortable with High-Risk OB
