Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations that may arise. Duties • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. • Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities. • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken. • Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. • Provide assistance during conflicts or disturbances, utilizing conflict management skills. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or gather information. • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage. • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Skills • Proficient in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV equipment. • Certified in CPR and First Aid, with the ability to respond effectively in emergencies. • Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively. • Background in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not required. • Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques. • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
