Full Time Night Nurse

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various clinical settings.. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care, the ability to perform essential nursing tasks, and the capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Nurse will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients, including children, while ensuring their comfort and safety. Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards. • Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. • Assist in catheterization procedures and other clinical tasks as needed. • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. • Maintain accurate patient records using Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems. • Conduct laboratory tests and interpret results to inform patient care decisions. • Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment plans, and post-operative care. • Ensure compliance with occupational health standards and safety regulations. Qualifications • Current nursing license in the state of practice. • Proficiency in performing vital sign assessments and catheterization procedures. • Familiarity with laboratory processes and the ability to conduct basic tests. • Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. • Ability to lift patients as necessary while adhering to safety protocols. • Commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
